• This was the most comprehensive study of acoustic music that I have ever experienced.  Great combination of instructional material and lots of playing.  It suited my learning style more than anything I could have experienced.

  • The best "music camp" experience that I've found in over ten years of mandolin playing and music camps.  Instruction included oft neglected right hand techniques and the importance of allowing the music to "breathe".  Lots of playing, covering examples of each principle really helped with understanding and retention.  Keith is a great teacher and makes learning lots of fun.  I look forward to doing it again!

  • The week of private lessons was the best money I have ever spent.  I came away with a new found appreciation for the mandolin and fiddle and the tools to improve.  A few people have noticed the difference already.  I plan to continue with Skype lessons because I will need coaching and new things to work on.

  • The most comprehensive camp I've attended in over ten years of going to music camps in various formats.  Intense, concentrated, and focused on my weakest areas, resulting in no wasted time and creating the best value for the cost of any curriculum I've experienced.  A definite "do again".

  • I'm not sure if we did more pickin' or grinnin' but I am sure we did a whole lot of both, and mostly at the same time, while all along I learned, learned, and learned some more.  It never stopped....including the fun.  I highly recommend Keith as a teacher.

  • Keith Yoder was born to teach.  He understands what we need and delivers it.  His stamina is unbelievable.  He was "leading" us for 12 to 14 hours a day.  So you know if you can play that much music he makes it fun to.  I have not had many experiences where I felt I got much more that what I paid for but I sure did have one at Keith's house.  And what a great musician!!  And his wife Sarah was very gracious as a host as well as a pretty darn good cook.  And what a great musician!!!

  • Fun!  Fun!  Fun!  Excellent instruction in a relaxed atmosphere.  We were kept busy at all times, lots of laughs, serious at the times it was needed.  Good food, good times, outside activities, jamming.  Keith taught us at our level, stretching our knowledge, encouraging us when we needed it.  We have already scheduled our next mini camp!

  • Thank you for contributing so much to making my 2018 wonderful. The time we spent with you has had a huge impact on who we are as musicians and as a band.
